Responsibilities: Design and implement file-based workflows for the Dubai EXPO2020 Provide Technical Support for MCR, Editing, Logging, Ingest, Playout and Engineering services. Comprehensive Reports on all activities handled during the event. Provide technical solutions for special requirements during events. Communicate with all departments for technical requirements. Archive and transport all materials from the EXPO system to DMI’s Archive system. Manpower allocation for 6 sections under technical services.
Responsibilities: The Broadcast Systems Engineer will take responsibility for the day to day support of the broadcast systems within DMI, supporting both Broadcast Hardware and Software Systems to ensure the successful smooth running of the all technical Systems including Studios and TX chains. Maintain, Align, troubleshoot and repair Studios equipment , computer based equipment, Transmission chains, Media servers , Cloud, Automation systems and all broadcasting systems used across DMI or anywhere else within the work domain as required. Ability to guide and coach colleagues. Ability to effectively communicate with departmental and station personnel as required. Ability to work independently under timelines to achieve departmental and station goals. Must be able to comprehend schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals. Ability to prioritize. Ability to work with microwaves, transmitters, and satellites. Ability to effectively work and communicate with others. Provide technical solutions for DMI’s requirements.
